Nestled deep in nature, this couple chose to celebrate their love with the most idyllic camping wedding I've ever witnessed. It was intimate, relaxed, and full of heart. It had been raining on and off throughout the morning, but then, just thirty minutes before the ceremony, the rain stopped. The clouds lifted, the light softened, and the ceremony unfolded under a perfectly calm sky — and that beautiful energy carried through the rest of the day.
This couple had chosen my film photography package, a favorite offering of mine for weddings like this one. With this package, I act as your second shooter, but my role is beautifully different — I’m there purely to capture the small, quiet, emotional moments on film. I’m not chasing the first kiss or the big entrance. I’m looking for the way your grandma looks at you when you first walk down the stairs. Watching for the way your hand finds theirs during a pause in conversation. The glances. The exhales. The in-betweens. The quiet magic.
